In need of a child car seat?
Car seats are one of the more expensive items parents need to purchase for a new baby, but it is a necessary, potentially life-saving device. In Canada, it is required by law that infants and toddlers be restrained in a car seat whenever they ride in any motor vehicle.
Not all parents or caregivers can afford the cost of a new car seat, running upwards of $100+. This can leave infants and children unprotected and at risk when travelling in a vehicle.
We are excited to partner with NeighbourLink Calgary and they do offer an option for those parents who may struggle financially to purchase a car seat. All donated car seats MUST meet certain criteria and parents must sign a waiver form to ensure the seat is safe before it goes to another family.
